Detailed design, project management, procurement, installation and commissioning of all civil and M&E services associated with the drilling of 8 No borewells for the supply of potable and mineral water to a large drinks manufacturer over a two year period. Using a sophisticated PLC control system linking the variable speed borewell pumps (in some case over 7km from the site) to the bottling lines resulted in a capital cost savings in excess of £250k and reduced electrical energy usage of £55k/annum.
Queens University Belfast
Design and development of an on-site borewell system for to replace mains water with borewell water for a larger residential complex (approximate consumption 200m3/day) and reduce resource costs by £80k per annum.
Belfast Health and Social Care Trust
Design and development of an on-site borewell system for Belfast City Hospital to reduce mains water consumption by using borewell water to reduce overall resource costs and provide resilience in the event of a mains water supply failure.
Upgrade of an existing borewell installation at Musgrave Park Hospital to optimise water abstraction and meet current legislative requirements for private water supplies.
